Just a comment..... it would be trivial (if email is available on the user system) to bounce a copy of their config file to a program that records what features are being used. Of course, this sending of information would HAVE to be voluntary. Maybe the last step in the make config process.
This would also give us an interesting database of peoples configurations, whats being used the most and the least.
I would be happy to host such a monster (including the perl mail script). In fact, it sounds really interesting to me.... I think I'll play with that this weekend.....
