Which is a very good thing indeed.

Im not sure about logging the warning. I wish there was a way to embed #warning lines into macros and inline function calls to get the right result in the source tree.

Thats ideal. Everything carries on working, and people can fix it over time. Like memcpy_tofs/froms slowly vanished
