SubjectRe: cdrom error message

I get this message when i put in a highly damaged CD in the cd-rom,

Basicly what it tell you is that the area being read on the cdrom is
readable but having some trouble; actualy making your 'puter think.

The overall solution is take better care of your cds.

Or is there a 'more' detailed discription, or meaning of this error?
