Yes indeed. Look in
ftp://linux.dcs.ed.ac.uk/pub/linux/supermount/
for a patch against later 2.0 kernels.
Warning: this patch hasn't been fully publicly released, but I have had a fairly large number of people testing it so far. To date, the only known problem is that it falls apart somewhat if you try to use it on a device driver loaded dynamically via kerneld --- I'm not yet sure just what's going wrong in that case.
Apart from that, I hope you find it useful. I'll make a more widely-announced public release once I've got the problem cornered.
